Andrew Tobias, The Best Little Boy In The World (1973) When this book was first appeared in 1973, Tobias published it under a pen name, John Reid. The Best Little Boy is about a perfect, well-rounded, straight-A student who just happens to realize that he is gay, growing up gay in a straight world. Today Tobias no longer needs to hide. He is a best-selling financial writer and journalist. The Best Little Boy is written in the form of a memoir.
