Waterways of New York by Robynne Boyd
While standing in the crowded streets of Manhattan shrouded by buildings, it can be difficult to see the direct relationship between the city's people and water. Yet, New York is dependent on its waterways. Water has been a primary element in turning the city into a thriving metropolis. My project examines New Yorker's relationship to water, and how the city's continued development affects the health of its waterways.
