ABC picked two anchor people to replace Peter Jennings, and CBS picked three people to replace Ted Koppel. Is the age of the giants of television news over if we need five people to do the job that used to be done by two?
And is it just me, or are they all young and good-looking? Like Anderson Cooper. He replaced Aaron Brown on CNN. I like the way he presents news too, but you can’t tell me that his looks didn’t have a hand in his promotion. Is this the only way we can get people to watch the news now? Or is this the only way to combat the blond bimbo parade on FOX?

Oh, come on-- they're not that good looking, Christie. (Ok, that was rude.) Let's not assume they suck yet, though I don't think your skepticism is out of place. Let's just be positive and say yay!-- they hired a woman who is half minority! To do half the job! One day, ABC might let the little lady do it all by herself! If her husband signs a release, that is...
