Mistake or Malice?

A clip from CNN was posted on YouTube under the title "CNN Cuts Early to President Bush". The clip shows a CNN newscaster, then cuts to Bush rehearsing the speech he was about to deliver. The person who posted this video on YouTube included the following statement:

CNN Cuts Early to President Bush, while he is rehearsing the speech. Yet another example of liberal media bias.

The mistake does, unarguably, show Bush stumbling over his words and thereby portrays him in a negative light. However, the argument that CNN intentionally cut to Bush early to purposefully represent him unfavorably seems ludicrous. The rampant accusations of "liberal" bias in the media has gained such a stronghold on the American public that this person would more readily believe that a news organization would purposefully, and is implied maliciously, manipulate coverage to somehow disparage the president rather than accept the early cut as a technical mistake. If anything, this is an example of sloppy media, in my opinion the benign brethren, rather than it’s evil twin, explicit media bias.
