Rosie Rules for Blogging

So apparently Rosie has a blog. In fact, she has had one since 2004, but only recently it was moved to a new location and given a makeover. In addition to the usual (y'know, mani, pedi, foils, waxing), a set of Guidelines for Commenting are included. Some highlights are....

Obviously, this blog is open to the public, so think about what you include in your comments.

In other words, more people are looking at Rosie's blog then all the blogs you used to comment on, so clean yourself up a bit.

Please keep your comments short. 100-150 words would be great, which makes reading them faster and easier for everyone. If you have something longer to say – start your own blog (for example, go to Blogger.com to learn more about starting your own blog) and let us know where to find it!

So, um, how much is Blogger paying for a plug in these Rosie Rules?

This is Rosie’s blog, and as such she reserves the right to do anything she wants with any submitted comments, including archiving, distributing and publishing them forever, if she wants.

It's not the "archiving, distributing, and publishing" that disturbs me. It's the forever. Even from the grave... so not going to finish this sentence...

We can do these things ourselves, or we can arrange for third parties to do them for us at our direction.

You'd think with all that money Rosie could afford a decent psychiatrist to help her with this split-personality disorder.

I guess the moral of the story is: Do make the content you blog about more interesting than the "Legal Stuff" page.
