Treasonous Slime in the Capitol

Republican Congressman Howard Coble recently recieved a death threat for voting against the troop surge in Iraq.

I first saw this story in the Greensboro News & Record, and a little searching led me to this account on Joe Killian's blog.

"Despite the blowback Coble was in good spirits, fishing the wad of paper from the pocket of his rumpled tweed jacket and asking reporters, in the manner of a proud weekend fisherman, 'Want to see something?'"

This is a pretty good example of the quality of his work. Killian is a trained journalist, so I guess this doesn't count as citizen journalism. But it's still some of the finest self-published work I've encountered.
