Anna Doesn't Do the Word Blog

I love blogs. I love Anna Wintour. I love Vogue. Apparently, though, Anna hates the word blog. Tear.

She doesn’t have a problem with blogs, just the word in general. Vogue is looking to expand to the web, but needs a new name. Ideas?

So then I got to thinking, how many other fashion magazines actually have blogs by staffers and call them blogs?

Cari posted earlier that teen magazines are starting to catch on and launch internet content. But what about the magazines with demographics outside of the internet generation?

I know JANE has traditional blogs. I mean, I should know, I write for them. (Insert shameless self promotion here.)

Glamour was the only magazine I found with a typical blog, but not by a staffer. See Alyssa Date recently changed to Alyssacentric when she decided to seriously date someone. Allure has Editor Favorites, Lucky has Catch of the Day, and Elle has weekly fashion news.

So maybe Anna’s not alone being anti the word blog. I'm gonna go think of Vogue-ish word for blog. Maybe I can be the new Emily from "The Devil Wears Prada," then?

EDIT: I found more on Glamour's site. Way to with the blogging over there!
