We Want Media

I'm going against two of my arguements with this blog post: Anna Nicole Smith coverage and Larry King Live.

I defended them in the past, but am now so sick of hearing about these money-hungry phonies.

It started with Howard K. Stern versus Larry Birkhead, then Anna Nicole's mom, and then came all the people she slept with, like Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband. Now there are diaries, lawyer firings, and made-for-TV judges.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

All of this has been documented tirelessly, and embarrassingly, on Larry King.

Is this news anymore?

No way!

The issue is still a scandal because nothing has been resolved, but that's exactly why it's not an interesting story.

It's becoming increasingly clear that everyone involved wants money and their 15 minutes of fame, which thanks to continuous MSM and Larry King Live coverage, has turned to hours of fame!

My hypothesis is if the media stopped covering the characters and twists and turns involved, maybe these characters would finally reach a conclusion so they would be back in the media.

It would be a win-win situation for all.

With that said, I am boycotting this story starting ... Now!
