Ana Marie Cox Has No Kind Words for "M.C. Rove"

While most news organizations took a favorable angle on Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove’s improvised rap skit at the annual White House correspondents’ dinner last month, Time Magazine’s political blogger Ana Marie Cox would have none of it.

Speaking at New York University’s Digital Journalism class this Monday, Cox said that watching the performance was like “seeing someone getting hit in the nuts.” The blogger continued, expressing the exceptional nature of her sympathy for Rove: “He’s evil and I [still] felt embarrassed for him.”

Even so, Cox quipped, the White House should be happy. “It’s the most positive coverage Rove’s gotten in months.”

So, was it really that bad? Judge for yourself by watching the video below:

let's look at the more important issue: it's the two guys from Drew Carey's improv show! Rapping with Satan.

I wouldn't call him Satan. Perhaps Judas is more appropriate. Nah, Satan is just right.

Just a reminder that this guy didn't do anything more evil than electing get Republicans elected. This is exhibit A on why 85% of American votes think the media is biased. Because it's full of people like you.

Well, I was referencing "American Dad." In hindsight, I realize I'm one of four people that actually still watch that show. And as long as american votes think the media is biased, and not the people, I think we'll be doing fine.
