If It's On TV, It's But a Click Away

I don't own a television and don't feel any particular desire to own one. Yet as a student of communications and an American citizen, I feel somewhat responsible for knowing what's happening on the tube. Fortunately for me, most of this content is summarized somewhere online.

So next time one of the following pops up in conversation:

1. Controversial awards at the Oscars or some other awards ceremony

2. A new development in reality television

3. The saga of an actress' weight

4. Something someone wore on TV that got everyone's panties in a festival

5. Speaking of panties

I need only browse the web and haphazardly stumble upon it.

The only allusion that can really go over my head is:

6. That commercial where __ did __

But I'm a channel flipper when it comes to commercials, so it's no matter.

So thanks, my online informants, for saving my time (and giving one television set a better home).
