Bush Cronies Posing as Journalists? Now I've Heard Everything

Curiouser and curiouser are certain tactics that our beloved Commander-in-Chief employs. Now this may not be a huge deal after all. They apologized for it this time. But hey, maybe it is a big deal. Isn't identity fraud a serious crime in these days of the Patriot Act?

At the risk of sounding paranoid, I have to ask : How often does this happen? The general public seems to be more receptive and trusting to their friendly neighborhood journalists than government employees, so it doesn't seem outlandish for me to believe that there are more than a few government employees posing as journalists out there. And just because they got caught this time doesn't mean it was the first time this ever happened. Oh, the potential for more scandal is tasty.

I can't say I haven't pretended to be from Fox News before...

Telling people I'm writing an article for my class just doesn't peek their interest enough.
