MySpace Rapists and Robbers and Bad Guys, Oh My!

Detectives ID'ed six robbers and racists by using MySpace profiles to put faces to the names. The victim only knew her attackers by their first names, so detectives pulled up her friends list to get some of the suspects.

I admit it. I have a MySpace account. Acquired recently, this will be the last of the mess of networking sites I subscribe to, mostly because they have little utility (and also 'cause I think I've reached the maximum age limit or something).

Is "Stealing" Wireless Internet Illegal?

A "friend" of mine figured out how to connect her laptop to one of the many wireless networks her laptop detected. Is this illegal? Laws vary within the U.S. and around the world.
