Blaming the Media Won't Get You Anywhere

A study has shown the negative consequences of the media, including television, the Internet and video games, on young children and teenagers. It’s no news that our lives are constantly and powerfully affected by the media. And its negative affects aren’t surprising either.

The FCC: Serving Public Interest or Media Oligopoly?

For a very long time, media companies have been fighting against ownership restrictions. And for the most part, they have been successful. But now, the FCC is trying to lift the ban on ownership of newspapers and broadcasting by one company in the same city.

We are living in an age of mobile media. It seems that we can’t live without them for a day. Most people own a cell phone, a laptop computer, a mp3 player, so on. We are almost addicted, and we even get nervous when we forget to bring them one day.
